The sounds and smell of our coffee machine is the most prominent in the delicatessen. Using Illy coffee, which we believe is the best in the world, our staff are trained to make coffee to Illy standards and the traditional Italian way. We do not believe in messing about with coffee, with flavours or toppings. The coffee is prepared to the correct temperature and served in traditional cups. We do offer decaffeinated coffee and we soya milk is available for those with a dairy intolerance. It takes time to prepare the coffee correctly, and many of our regular customers travel reasonable distances to enjoy it. This light and airy space above the shop, overlooking Montpellier Gardens, is the perfect place to relax over coffee and pastries or home-made cakes, all-day lunch (served until 5.00pm) or Sunday Brunch (10-4pm). The caffe is also available for private hire. As well as our tables in the caffe, we also have tables outside the shop and delicatessen, where you can sit in the sunshine or wrapped up in our wool blankets on cooler days, watching the world go by or chatting with friends. Our full breakfast, lunch and Sunday Brunch menus are served outside as well.
